About the Instructor
N.E. (Bill) Battikha, P.Eng., has over 30 years of experience in the field of Process Instrumentation and Control, working primarily in the USA and Canada. Bill has taught numerous Instrumentation and Control courses, at many universities and for the ISA. He co-authored a patent and wrote three books on Instrumentation and Controls, all published by the ISA. The most recent is an ISA bestseller. He is an active member of a number of standards committees, has presented papers at international conferences, has written articles for major technical magazines, and publishes an on-line quarterly newsletter on Instrumentation and Control. Bill's engineering experience includes the development of engineering standards and control philosophies. He has contributed to all phases of planning, design, implementation and verification of in-plant systems. Bill is now the president of BergoTech Inc., a firm specializing in Instrumentation and Control engineering and expert witness services.
Bill holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers of Ontario and the ISA.
